Olika försök med psykologer och kuratorer pÄ vÄrdcentraler har startats runt om i Sverige. UtvÀrderingar genomförda i samband med samtalsbehandlingar har visat genomgÄende goda resultat. Syftet med aktuell utvÀrdering var att undersöka betydelsen av behandlingen ett till tvÄ Är efter avslut. UtifrÄn patientperspektiv erhölls genom enkÀt (n=68) förstÄelse av vad som karaktÀriserar patientgruppen, samtalsbehandlingens innehÄll och dess effekter. Patienter rapporterade stöd av behandlingen och att de hade kommit tillrÀtta med problem inom hÀlsa, relationer, arbetsliv och fritid.

Counselling is one of the most commonly utilized tools in the work place. The purpose of this paper is to explore how four employers utilize early counselling sessions related to absences due to illness. A qualitative research method has been used and four human resource managers have been interviewed. The research questions have been divided into three categories: the counselling structure, the counselling model and the counselling dilemmas. The interviews have been transcribed and processed through these three categories.

Detta Àr en uppföljning av utbildningen i Psykodynamisk Affektfokuserad Korttidsterapi som gavs pÄ psykoterapeutprogrammet med psykodynamisk inriktning 2004 -2007. Syftet Àr att följa upp om PAK fortfarande upplevs angelÀget och om utbildningen har pÄverkat arbetet och rollen som psykoterapeut. Detta har gjorts via en enkÀt och intervjuer. Studien visar att PAK haft ett tydligt inflytande pÄ arbetet och synen pÄ rollen som psykoterapeut för de flesta av de intervjuade och att det finns en upplevelse av engagemang och vitalisering hos terapeuterna. En ansats till att fÄ en bild av vad som Àr attraktivt i förhÄllningssÀttet görs och det förs en diskussion kring detta.

The overall aim of this study is to achieve the increased knowledge of the use of the counselling methods in the student counsellors' work and to find the possibilities for development. Two questions are used as guidelines:Which counselling methods do student counsellors use in their work in schools?How can the current education for the student counsellors be supplemented?The analysis of the interviews with six counsellors in Stockholm's administrative province showed that even uneducated counsellors use the same counselling methods as the educated ones. All these methods which are used remind of the known counselling methods that are the part of the current education for the student counsellors.In general counsellors experienced that the education for the counsellors should be supplemented within the field children with special needs and that conversation's methodology is the essence of the counselling work..

Syftet med uppsatsen var att följa upp den korttidsterapi som bedrivs vid barn och ungdomspsykiatrin (BUP) i Östersund samt undersöka om en till tvĂ„ samtal, utifrĂ„n ett systemiskt förhĂ„llningssĂ€tt och till utvalda familjer, kan ge goda upplevda behandlingsresultat och nöjda klienter. Metoden som anvĂ€ndes var telefonintervjuer med 21 förĂ€ldrar till 20 barn som genomgĂ„tt korttidsterapi vid BUP Östersund. Intervjuguiden var halvstrukturerad och undersökningsdesignen Ă€r dĂ€rmed baserad pĂ„ insamling av frĂ€mst kvantitativ data med viss kvalitativ ansats. Resultatet av uppsatsen visar att behandlingen kan ge goda upplevda resultat och nöjda familjer. Hos majoriteten av barnen hade problemen minskat/försvunnit och de flesta har inte behövt söka hjĂ€lp igen.

With this research we aimed to seek how youth workers express their experience of counselling on the internet compared to traditional counselling face to face with a theoretical ground in semiotics and symbolic interactionism. Our questions were 1) How do youth workers describe their experiences from anonymous, faceless online counselling? 2) How do youth workers experience the differences between online counselling and the traditional face-to-face counselling? 3) Which possibilities and difficulties do they see in online communication with adolescents? We used semi-structed interviews with seven youth workers. Six of those are active in non-profit organisations, and one in social services. The results from our interviews showed that the interviewees saw that misunderstandings were more frequent on the internet, but that online counselling with adolescents still was easier than in the face-to-face meetings.

Psykodynamisk korttidsterapi för barn Àr eftersatt i Sverige gÀllande metodutveckling och spridning. Föreliggande uppsats Àr en pilotstudie inför ett metodutvecklingsprojekt vid Ericastiftelsen i Stockholm. Studien har en kvalitativ ansats och syftar till att via intervjuer undersöka förÀldrars och terapeuters erfarenheter och upplevelser av psykodynamisk korttidsterapi i fyra barnterapier med parallell förÀldrakontakt. Resultaten visar att terapeuter och förÀldrar har övervÀgande positiva erfarenheter av metoden. Terapeuterna upplever ett stÀrkt engagemang jÀmfört med lÄngtidsterapi, tack vare tidsbegrÀnsningen och det aktivare förhÄllningssÀttet.

The overall aim with this essay was to study how counsellors at upper secondary school work with mental illness among youths and compare this with what research and theories advocate. This because there has been a rise in the number of people, especially in the age-group 16-24 years, suffering from different degrees of mental illnesses. The school can in some aspect contribute to cause mental illness but it also consists of good opportunities to offer counselling and work to prevent mental illness among the students. This study consists of five qualitative interviews and two short telephone interviews with school counsellors. During the interviews they expressed their thoughts concerning factors that causes mental illness among youths and gave an account of how they work with prevention, counselling and collaboration.

This study illustrates how drama methods and career counselling might interact. The aim is to investigate whether drama methods can enhance career counselling methods. Drama is here defined as an umbrella term that includes all forms of action methods used in psychology and education.A literature survey was carried out in parallel with qualitative research interviews. Three professional drama leaders were interviewed separately. This was followed by a group interview with five upper secondary school students, who had all taken a course in drama with a focus on personal development.The findings show that there are common and consistent goals and values between drama and career counselling.

The purpose of this study was to examine how people experience being in debt, what they consider was the reason for being in debt and how they experienced economic counselling. The empirical data was based on five semi-structured interviews with people having experiences from being in debt and experiences of economic counselling. The data was analysed by using theoretical perspectives from a model called economic-shame created by Bengt Starrin. The model shows how being in debt and the feelings of shame influence health. The conclusion shows that the reasons for being in debt often is due to several sudden and tragic events happening at the same time or due to each other.

Parallellt förÀldraarbete anses vara en viktig del av barnterapi. MÄnga forskare menar att det ÀndÄ saknas tydliga modeller för förÀldraarbete. Föreliggande uppsats med kvalitativ ansats, syftar till att studera förÀldraarbete parallellt med korttidsterapi för barn, utifrÄn förÀldrars och terapeuters perspektiv. Intervjuer med förÀldrar, och terapeuters sessionsvisa processdagböcker, har varit underlag för analysarbetet. Resultaten tyder pÄ att förÀldrarna har övervÀgande positiva erfarenheter av behandlingsmetoden.

The aim of this undergraduate thesis was to explore how the welfare officers at palliative units in Stockholm respond to the patients? thoughts and experiences during the last phase of life, as well as exploring their picture of the patients experiences. The research questions of the study were:? How do the welfare officers relate to the patients? experience of their death? ? In what way do the welfare officers respond to the dying patient and his or her experiences?? What knowledge/experience do the welfare officers have and what knowledge/experience do they consider is needed in their profession?To answer the research questions a qualitative method was used where five welfare officers in three different palliative units were interviewed. The empirical material was analysed through meaning concentration and are presented using exact quotations.

The aim of this study is to examine the patient's understanding of the counselling while testing for an STI. The method was an inquiry directed to patients at two receptions, where tests for STI are made, and on the Internet for patients who made a test within the last year. The study involves 95 participants, 39 answered the inquiry directly after the test. The main results show that most participants are positive to talk about their sexuality and sexual strategies with the personnel, irrespective of who takes the initiative to the counselling. Women are yet more negative then men to talk about their sexuality, even if the test is made voluntarily by the woman.

This paper is based on Bowlby's attachment theory in the exploration of Christian pastoral care literature. Kirkpatrick and Granqvist account for the majority of previous research on the subject, however, not related to counselling or counselling literature. The selected pastoral literature, which is three books by each author: Liselotte J Andersson and Margareta Melin provide several possible associations with attachment theory. In the process, nonetheless, more literature has been studied than those reported here. This paper aims to investigate whether a relationship with God is given as an attachment relationship of the selected pastoral literature.
